Couples Therapy

As an integrative practitioner, I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each couple, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities while leaning most heavily on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My goal is to help you not only understand the deeper patterns beneath your conflict, but also build the concrete skills needed to create lasting change.

EFT serves as the foundation of our work because it helps us move beyond surface-level issues into the emotions, needs, and fears that drive disconnection. In session, we’ll slow things down to identify the negative cycles you’re caught in and learn how to reach for each other in ways that feel safer, more effective, and more aligned with the kind of relationship you want to build.

At the same time, CBT offers practical tools to support change outside the therapy room. We’ll examine the thoughts, interpretations, and communication habits that keep you stuck, and practice strategies to express yourselves more clearly, regulate big emotions, and stay connected during conflict.

For couples navigating neurodivergence, such as ADHD, autism, or sensory sensitivities, I work to create space for both partners to feel seen, understood, and respected. We’ll explore how each of you processes the world, manage moments of mismatch, and build a shared language for connection. Whether you’re feeling emotionally distant, stuck in patterns of miscommunication, or simply craving more ease and joy together, we’ll work to strengthen your bond and rebuild trust from the inside out.
